The Design Box Challenge is a collaborative venture highlighting innovative design across all of Southern California.
What is the Design Box Challenge?
Eight interior design professionals or teams in Orange County, and Los Angeles will be given 24 hours to covert a white box space into inspired design vignettes.
Each designer will receive an unknown element prior to starting their installation. Each designer will need to incorporate into their space.
After the 24 hour period (broken down into 8 hours over three days), designers will unveil their vignettes. These vignettes will be celebrated at a cocktail reception, produced by Percy Floyd Productions in conjunction with the Southern California Chapter of NKBA.
This event will include a voting/award component. Attendees will vote for the design they prefer. The designer with the most votes at each venue will be awarded the People’s Choice Award. A panel of judges will be on hand to determine which designer incorporated the mystery element into their design successfully. Both the People’s Choice winner and the winner chosen by the judges will receive exposure in Luxe Magazine, as well as a number of other benefits.
